An outfield bleacher section began at the left-field foul pole and extended into left-center field. There was no seating in right field or in center field past the left-field bleachers. A swimming pool was situated beyond the right field fence. As of 1992, Jarry Park was still standing, used regularly for social and civic events, for professional tennis, and for other large outdoor gatherings. The Expos played in Jarry Park from 1969, when they were granted a National League expansion franchise, until 1976. They moved into Olympic Stadium at the start of the 1977 season.
